What exactly is renter screening. It is the process of doing a background check on your potential new tenants. The renter screening can consist of a criminal background search, a credit report and a eviction search. The criminal search will tell you if they have any kind of criminal record, the credit report will tell you how they pay their bills (or not) and the eviction search will tell you if they have ever been filed on for a eviction.
